TED talks - Presentations from a diverse range of speakers on issues and innovations of the day.
McKinsey Quarterly – This is the quarterly journal produced by the international management consultancy firm McKinsey & Company. While its content is dominated by corporate issues, there is a section detailing the work it conducts with not for profit organisations. The articles on leadership and governance may also be of interest.
Training Zone - As the name suggests, this site is aimed primarily at trainers. However, its free e-newsletter contains frequent articles that are of use to those interested in management, leadership, communication, mentoring and coaching. There is also a not for profit special interest group.
third sector issues
Know How Non-Profit – This portal has been developed by the Cass Business School’s Centre for Charity Effectiveness. The site aims to assist those within the third sector by providing the tools and means to build expertise and share experiences.
KnowledgeBank – This site contains research from a wide range of sector areas, from working with offenders to environmental initiatives. Research includes evaluations, needs analyses and sector summaries. This site may prove useful in finding supporting information for your organisation's work.

Leadership Hub – The Leadership Hub is a global leadership exchange where practical insights on how to lead are shared.
Trusted Leader - This site's mission is to assist caring leaders to motivate and enhance the performance of their colleagues. The site provides a practical guide to leaders at all levels.
Good to Great - This book offers a clear and compelling insight into what it takes for organisations to become great. While this book focuses primarily on private sector organisations, the author has also published a monograph entitled, 'Good to Great and the Social Sectors' which focuses on Third Sector organisations.

Who Mentored You - Celebrities share their stories of the importance of mentoring in their lives.
Mowgli Foundation – This charity’s ‘knowledge centre’ has an ever expanding list of tools and resources related to mentoring and associated relationships such as coaching.
