what we mean by organisation
Organisation involves having the right number of people with the right skills and motivations to complete the strategy. These people include trustees, paid staff and volunteers. Organisation also includes the ‘bricks and mortar’ – the physical location(s) from which an entity operates.
why organisational issues are important
Quite simply, people are required to make things happen, and skilled, enthusiastic people are likely to have the most positive impact. The physical environment an organisation operates from can also have a significant impact on its ability to fulfil its vision.
our expertise
We can assist in assessing the performance of trustees, staff and volunteers and develop improved ways of recruiting, inducting, retaining and rewarding people. We can also assist in designing appropriate staff structures and assessing whether the organisation as a whole has key skill gaps.
Much of this organisational work is conducted through our partner organisation mch training. Click here for more information.
We can also assist in helping organisations to determine the right premises for their activities and work through the practical building implications of a proposed strategy.
For an example of how we have assisted an organisation in this area go to our Case Studies section.
