what we mean by finance
Finance involves having a sustainable source of income to cover all the expenses associated with an organisation’s strategy. It also incorporates having a reliable and efficient means of managing income and expenditure. Specifically in relation to grant giving trusts, finance also involves deciding whether to fund specific organisations, and if so, to what extent.
why finance is important
Without money, staff and bills cannot be paid.
our expertise
We can improve how well an organisation manages and monitors its finances. This can lead to reduced costs, improved budgets and better methods of financial reporting to Trustees.
We also assist in the development of new sources of income. This can involve assessing the viability of a social enterprise idea or identifying new grant funding opportunities and writing the required submissions. Specifically in relation to grant giving trusts, we have assessed grant applications and made recommendations as to the value of funding successful applications should receive.
